Fluoroscopy

Fluoroscopy uses x-rays to visualize, moving organs such as the intestines, heart and blood vessels in live motion. Many diagnostic procedures are performed using fluoroscopy such as studies of the stomach and intestines, the uterus and Fallopian tubes. Fluoroscopy is also used to guide treatment procedures such as drainage of abscesses and cysts, biopsies and more complex brain and blood vessel-related procedures.
